Web Bio : Dr. Supriya Sahasrabuddhe, is the Retired Reader and Head of the Department of English, after 40 years of teaching at Modern College, Pune. She has Masters in   Hindi, Indology and Ph.D in English. At present she is 1] Working in the Project Team of English-English-Marathi edition of Word Master Dictionary of Orient Blackswan, Hyderabad. 2] Teaching Translation Studies in Pune University etc as a Visiting faculty 3] Teaching Patanjali Yogasutras, Sanskrit literature to foreign students Proficiency in Marathi, English, Hindi and Sanskrit Languages Her Research Activities and guidance covers topics related to ‘John Donne and Saint Tukaram :   A Comparative Investigation of their Religious Poetry’.   ‘Prominent Women Characters in the Iliad, Odyssey and Mahabharata : A Comparative Study’. She has to her credit 2 projects on Indian Women’s Writing in English. She has published 6 translations in Marathi, Hindi and English.
