WHAT ARE VEDANTA DOCTRINES?

Vedanta is an overall understanding of what Vedas present as the ultimate vision. As a part of Vedanta deliberation, many doctrines are debated. For example, the   consciousness is a doctrine. The view presented by a school about consciousness is a darshana. There can be several Darshanas about a given concept like ‘ Soul’ (Atma). There can be several doctrines presented by a school of darshana .For example, nyaya darshana presents several doctrines about time, space, matter, energy and life. Vedanta darshana presents the doctrines related to cosmology.
